Looking to Invest in Start-Ups or Looking for Investment for your Start Up? – then this event is for you!

You are warmly invited to ‘Sourcing Angel Investment to Scale’ on Wednesday 25th September at 5.30pm in Castlebar, Co. Mayo (Room Y108 of the main GMIT Campus Building). This event, comprising short talks presentations and networking, is designed to attract potential new private investors in the region as well as potential exciting new investment opportunities and provides an introduction to angel / private investing.  

At the event, speakers and experts will talk about their experiences of angel investing, both as investors and investees, leveraging their networks and the experience of private investment and syndicate investment groups

This is an ESIL event run in conjunction with Galway Mayo Institute of Technology and supported by WestBIC, the GMIT iHUBs / Empower Programme, HBAN, Enterprise Ireland, Údarás na Gaeltachta, WDC and Local Enterprise Office.

Francesca Natali is from Italy and is a board member of META Group and META.

She is a member of WA4E, Women angels for Europe’s Entrepreneurs European Commission, DG Research and Innovation. Francesca is a fund manager for Fondo Ingenium Emilia Romagna II;Fondo Ingenium Provincia di Catania; Meta Ingenium fund; Ingenium Sardegna and Ingenium Poland as an International Advisor on the early stage co-investment fund investing in innovative and high growing companies.

She is in charge of fundraising activities dealing with formal and informal investors and contributing to the analysis and assessment of the financial gap of SMEs in target countries, providing recommendations to international Financial Institutions and regional Managing Authorities on ad hoc financial tools to close SME funding gaps using Structural Funds.
