Early stage investing in Portugal today:
- Very different from 12 years ago when the PBA was lunched
- In 2006 the landscape was very different e.g. there was no participation or coinvestment for the goverment with business angels
- The business angels was a word that is not very well known
- Portugal in only a few years has become a very good place for start-ups
- Positive influence from the Web Summit
My goals in Portugal
- Make contacts, activate new angels
- Understand the best way to activate new angels and to have new strategies
