The President’s administration signed a memorandum with the #ESILangel for Georgia
The beautiful Presidential Palace in Tblisi was an ideal setting for the official launch of Georgia’s ESIL programme, held on the 25 of December 2018.
A trilateral memorandum, marking a commitment to work together to better develop the entrepreneurial and investment ecosystem in Georgia, was signed between Giorgi Abashishvili, Head of the President’s Administration, Avtandil Kasradze, Head of Innovation and Technologies Agency and Giorgi Tukhashvili, founder of Startup Grind.
“I want to emphasize that innovation, ideas, starting from scratch, created from scratch, is the greatest motive that can exist in the lives of people. I’m always proud of supporting creativity. Let’s help people who will promote the creativity,” said Giorgi Abashishvili.
More than 160 people gathered within the Palace to discuss angel investment in Georgia. These representatives of the investment ecosystem, had the opportunity to meet and listen to Brigitte Baumann, #ESILangel, Go Beyond Investing founder and Angel Investor of the Year in 2015. “An angel has two wings, the money and the support,” she said while being interviewed by Colin Donohue, the #ESILangel for Georgia.
