Angel investment models are evolving rapidly across Europe. Luigi Amati will present key findings from a recent ESIL study that sheds light on emerging practices and future trends. Philippe Rase will then share France Angels’ strategy for mutualization and digital transformation, illustrating how networks can modernize to increase efficiency, visibility, and long-term impact.

Business angel networks increasingly collaborate across borders to source and syndicate deals. Milen Ivanov will explore how these cross-border opportunities are reshaping the market and creating added value for both investors and entrepreneurs. Renaud Guillerm will complement this perspective by outlining the critical success factors for internationalizing a business angel network and building sustainable global partnerships.
11:05 – 11:35 | Talk & Share 3: Combining Geographic and Sector Focuses in Investment: The Angel Challenge for the Future?
The rise of sector-focused angel networks is reshaping the investment landscape. Guy Gourevitch, presenting on behalf of France Angels, will open the session with an overview of the French case, highlighting the diversity of existing networks, the momentum behind sector specialization, their openness to internationalization, and recent examples of collaborations. Building on this foundation, Reginald Vossen will add a European perspective on how geographic and sector approaches can converge. The roundtable will conclude with an open exchange on trends, challenges, and the future balance between the two models.
