Moldova’s startup ecosystem has made significant progress in recent years. A growing number of startups, accelerators, innovation organisations, and technology-focused entrepreneurs are contributing to a more dynamic innovation landscape. At the same time, the country benefits from a strong pool of technical talent and increasing entrepreneurial ambition.
However, access to early-stage finance remains one of the biggest challenges facing innovative startups. Angel investing is still at an early stage of development, limiting the availability of capital, mentorship, and experienced investors capable of supporting the growth of promising ventures.
Our ultimate goal: a dynamic Moldovan angel community that is integrated into Europe’s broader innovation landscape and capable of driving investment in the country’s startups and scale-ups. This can become a cornerstone for Moldova’s long-term economic transformation and its integration into the European innovation ecosystem.
