ESIL Masterclasses aim to provide researchers with the tools, knowledge and mindset to succeed in their innovation journey, write competitive proposals under the European Innovation Council Pathfinder and Transition schemes and effectively engage with Business Angels and innovation actors.
The goal: create a bridge between academia, Business Angels and the innovation community.
STEM students, researchers, PhD and post-doctoral fellows developing breakthrough technologies and who are interested in transforming their research results into impactful deep tech ventures.
The Materclasses are built around four steps:
- Framing the research activity into an innovation journey
- Writing a proposal with execution in mind
- Building the foundation of the spin-off
- Fundraising: pitching a deeptech investment opportunity
Together, these four steps form a pathway that supports researchers becoming “innovation teams” together with Business Angels and Innovation Actors, accompanying them from their ideas to a successful engagement with adopters and private investors.
